The 2011 raffle prize - a Prijon Prilite T505 Touring Kayak!

Puddledockers generously donated a brand new kayak package to the Women Swimmin' Raffle!

The package - which normally retails for over $2300 - included the Prijon Prilite T505 Touring Kayak with a "Sunburnt Orange" deck and white hull, a Balanced Wing Rudder Kit, a Sawyer Carbon Fiber Paddle, and an MTI Maya lifevest.

Once again, our kayak raffle was a huge success, raising over $5,100 for Hospicare. Following the swim, we announced this year's lucky winner -- Micky Roof. Happy paddling, Micky!
 

Auction

This year at the event, after all the swimmers returned to the Ithaca Yacht Club, we auctioned Annie Campbell's original artwork that is featured in this year's Women Swimmin' posters, notecards, and t-shirts. This one-of-a-kind watercolor is framed and ready to hang on the wall. We also had a lovely hand-made quilt from local quilter Pat Costantini to auction. Pat created this custom quilt just for Women Swimmin'! Our third auction item was a luxurious Signature3 spa package from Satori Salon and Spa, which includes a massage, pedicure, manicure and more! With these three wonderful auction prizes, we raised an additional $825 for Hospicare. Thank you for your support!
 

Breakfast

Ithaca Bakery/Collegetown Bagels will once again provide a scrumptious breakfast free to all swimmers and volunteer boaters. Breakfast will be available for friends, family, and supporters for a suggested donation.
 

Other Activities

Family and friends can cheer swimmers on from the shore! Enjoy breakfast from Ithaca Bakery/Collegetown Bagels, listen to music from the Yardvarks, draw a picture for your favorite swimmer, or just kick back and enjoy the view from the Ithaca Yacht Club!
